Project Description

The challenge at designing the new Olive Spa “Bio Olive Oil & Bio Aloe Vera” and “Bio Olive Oil & Spirulina” cosmetic lines, was to envisage products which will create unique memories for the consumers visiting our country. The aesthetically appealing image of the packaging is directed at tourist shops and addresses buyers at tourist regions, further aiming at repeat purchase through e-shops. The logo of the line Olive Spa borrowed its visual inspiration form of the rosette (rodakas) -a stylised design originating in ancient Cretan mural iconography. The colouring of every product group is determined by the predominant active substance, while the font chosen is classic and balances gracefully against the overall design, highlighting the herbal therapeutic action of the active substances. Every packaging -box- consists of two parts: the external and the internal. Removing the upper part of the box which opens like a blossoming flower, the vial is revealed within, pleasantly surprising the beholder.
